Turbo Dan, Chad Cato and I decided
to take Linda up on the offer of riding buckhorn today. We had all raced at 3
little pigs yesterday so we were not looking for speed just miles and practice
on the course. Linda and I plan to meet them there at 11:15am. Last min bike
check I noticed Linda had a bad tire. To save time I called Dan to see how far
away he was. We was still close to his house so he saved us a lot of time by
going and getting her a tire. So about 11:30 I change the tire and tube. Each
of use are getting our bikes ready and Dan has no cycling shoes. Yep he forgot
them and even went back to his house once. He had put them on the picnic table
to dry out from the race. So instead of driving all the way home or bagging the
ride all together he wears his crocks. I think we all deep down were glad
because we knew these means we might really have a nice recovery ride ahead of
us. Ride was great and pace was around 17. Conner hill was challenging as
always and Linda is getting better at the hills. If you have not had a chance
to meet or ride with chad yet.....he is gonna be a beast on the bike and a heck
of a tri guy in no time.

As for the 3 little pigs race yesterday.....there were at least 12 people from
Wilson racing. Wow way to represent. Everyone did great. It was Dan Deckers
sons first tri and I think everyone felt good about their finish times.
