I was at the ER until about 11:30 last night. Xrays and head CT scan indicated nothing broken, just banged up. I've been taking Tylenol and am feeling very sore but able to get around fairly well today. Strange thing is that I do not know how I got clipped out and off the bike without getting run over like my new bike. I saw the car approaching Lakeside pretty fast, but I thought they would stop. We all know what assumptions do. Anyway, at the last second, as I was trying to veer left, I looked down and saw the front fender of the car veering ever closer to me. I don't remember the car actually hitting me and I had no injuries to the right side of my body where the car hit me. Next thing I know I'm laying flat on my back in the middle of the street probably about 10 or 15 feet from the car. I don't think I passed out, but there seems to be a missing piece of the puzzle. I look forward to getting back on the bike asap, but first I need to let my wounds heel. Hope to see all of you soon.
