....nice ride Jim. As most of you are aware I am a living testament to the 'claim your space' philosophy. >From the beginning I tended to ride more left in the lane than on the line. Funny thing, as many even mentioned from time to time about my more left position in the lane. Then that infamous day in feb '11 after a grueling into the wind pull with all the bike monsters nipping at my wheel, I resigned myself to the back of the pace line and getting dropped on 97E hills rode the white line for some oxygen relief. Sad to say my lack of attention to the leftmost positioning is what I blame to that white pickup taking me out. Right you are Jim and Kim, road position is very important to a cyclist's well-being. Even if you have to piss some people off. Now you guys want to hear my "asking the lady to please pick up her butt litter off the beach" story?
