Mike beamon of inside out sports rides the q. Rings and likes them...I've
never tried them.  They are supposed to make the pedal stroke more
efficient by elongating the push phase.  Some people swear by them and
others claim its just the placebo effect.  To each their own...you can find
plenty of *research* both for and against them...as well as about every
other product that provides "free speed".
