That was punishment for being late. Fun riding with the "big" boys today.
yes Dan's brother is just as big and powerful as he is and Jay....not so big
but still strong riding the fixed gear. wish I could have joined in for the
longer ride. Very pretty warm day to be on the bike.

6 Riders showed up. Doc, Ronnie, Nick, Jay (riding his fixed gear) and my
brother Mark headed out south for Fremount. We wiggled our way down to 117
south and then took 222 to Stantonsburg. Turned left and headed back
north. Decent headwind headed south, pace picked up quite a bit coming
back. Was late meeting DC for lunch box, didn't show up till 1245. Mark,
Jay and i headed out for a quick 20 miles with DC. He was fired and ready
to ride. His first pull started with 25 mph into the wind. Shortly
thereafter my legs blew up had to cry uncle. At one point I thought I may
have to bail out, but I manage to muscle through sucking on my brother's
wheel. Got to Raleigh Road and the Weeeeee factor started. I felt bad
because I made DC wait for us and then he road most of the ride by himself
because I was off the back. Great weather to be on two wheels.
