The following package has been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:

* stress-ng-0.18.09-1

The stress-ng tool can stress various subsystems of a computer.  It can
stress load CPU, cache, disk, memory, socket and pipe I/O, scheduling
and much more.  It is a re-write of the original 'stress' tool but has
many additional features and considerably more stress mechanisms.

This is an update to the latest upstream release.

New stress tests:
--cachehammer
--cpu-sched
--dfp
--flipflop
--hyperbolic
--ptr-chase
--regex
--veccmp

New stress test options:
--bitops-method pwr2, zerobyte
--cache-prefetchw
--llc-affinity-clflush
--intmath-method add128, sub128, mul128, div128, mod128
--poll-random-us N
--spinmem-affinity
--workload-method vecfp

New global options:
--stressor-time
--taskset even, odd, random
--taskset-random

Cygwin specific:
--mq: is now also enabled on Cygwin.
--pthread: now uses pthread_sigqueue() which requires Cygwin >= 3.5.5
(previous Cygwin releases use a different function signature).

The source package supports reproducible builds.

Christian Franke
