It is a re-write of the original 'stress' tool but has many additional features and considerably more stress mechanisms. https://github.com/ColinIanKing/stress-ng This is an update to the latest upstream release. New stress tests: --cachehammer --cpu-sched --dfp --flipflop --hyperbolic --ptr-chase --regex --veccmp New stress test options: --bitops-method pwr2, zerobyte --cache-prefetchw --llc-affinity-clflush --intmath-method add128, sub128, mul128, div128, mod128 --poll-random-us N --spinmem-affinity --workload-method vecfp New global options: --stressor-time --taskset even, odd, random --taskset-random Cygwin specific: --mq: is now also enabled on Cygwin. --pthread: now uses pthread_sigqueue() which requires Cygwin >= 3.5.5 (previous Cygwin releases use a different function signature). The source package supports reproducible builds.
