The following package has been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:

* stress-ng-0.19.02-1

The stress-ng tool can stress various subsystems of a computer.  It can
stress load CPU, cache, disk, memory, socket and pipe I/O, scheduling
and much more.  It is a re-write of the original 'stress' tool but has
many additional features and considerably more stress mechanisms.

This is an update to the latest upstream release.

New stress tests:
--fd-abuse
--filerace
--mmapcow

New option:
--buildinfo

Important bug fixes:
--nice: no longer changes the nice value of foreign processes.
--mprotect (and others): no longer hangs due to signals using siglongjmp() after interrupting SIGALRM handler.

Cygwin specific:
--stream: now sets the correct L3 cache size also on Cygwin.
--sigfd: now enabled also on Cygwin.
--proc-fs: now enabled also on Cygwin.

The source package supports reproducible builds.

Christian Franke
