The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:
* cygport-0.37.1-1
cygport is the standard method for building and maintaining packages for
the Cygwin distribution.
Highlights of this release:
PyPI URLs are now formed using PEP 625 project name normalization rules.
This can be disabled with PYPI_NO_NORMALIZE.
'pip wheel' is now always used to build python wheels, irrespective of
the presence of a setup.py file.
The compressor used on the source tar archive made by VCS cygclasses is
configurable with VCS_COMPRESSION_EXT.
Carlo Bramini (1):
git: Make tar archive compressor configurable
Jon Turney (6):
Use full-path shebang for debug-filelist-extract
python-wheel: Always use 'pip wheel' rather than setuptools
Make _tar_bz2_flag operate as standalone flags
Generalize to make compressor configurable for all VCS cygclasses
python.org: Form PyPI URLs using new-style project name normalization
Bump version to 0.37.1
William Hu (1):
