Version 3.1.5-3 of "wxWidgets3.1" has been uploaded as a test package.
wxWidgets3.1 is a cross-platform GUI toolkit for GTK written in C++.
This update provides the following packages:
- wxWidgets3.1 (source package).
- wxWidgets3.1-debuginfo
- wxWidgets3.1-doc
- libwx_baseu3.1_5
- libwx_baseu3.1-devel
- libwx_gtk2u3.1_5
- libwx_gtk2u3.1-devel
- libwx_gtk3u3.1_5
- libwx_gtk3u3.1-devel
This update brings wxWidgets 3.1, while keeping the old wxWidgets3.0
package for compatibility.
The git repository at
https://cygwin.org/git-cygwin-packages/?p=git/cygwin-packages/wxWidgets3.1.git;a=summary
has also been updated.
This is a rebuild with the correct configure arguments so that dependent
projects can now build correctly, including wxPython, which I shall also
be updating shortly. The docs should now be complete as the doxygen bug
has been fixed. Thanks to Jon Turney for identifying and patching some
build issues thus allowing me to make progress again.
I do aim to get the automated test suite to work one day, but I have had
no luck thus far. I will be testing with the wxPython demo once I get
wxPython built, so it may be a little while before I mark this as
stable, but I'm not really expecting to have any issues with it.
Cheers,
Hamish
