Cygwin currently uses OpenSSL 3.0 LTS, which has a planned EOL of September 2026. The switch to the 3.5 LTS version (EOL in April 2030) will happen in about one or two months.
This test release provides the latest OpenSSL 3.5 LTS release and uses the Fedora 44 patches (without FIPS and foreign CPU architecture support).
