Version 4.1.1-4 of "python3-wx" has been uploaded as a stable package.
python3-wx is the Python 3 version of the cross-platform GUI toolkit,
wxPython.
This provides the following packages:
python3-wx (the source package)
python3-wx-common (common files)
python3-wx-debuginfo
python39-wx (wxPython built for Python 3.9).
This is a rebuild with comments in the cygport file about the optional
dependencies python-pycairo and python-xlrd.
Since the previous release I have noticed an issue with sizers where
they may not automatically resize the window, and minimum window sizes
are not being respected. I hope to figure out a workaround or, ideally,
the cause of this problem, and I will post again here when I do. It may
be that an update to wxPython 4.2.x is required. wxPython 4.0.7 doesn't
have this issue, I should note.
There is unfortunately no Python 3.12 build yet as this version of
wxPython is not compatible with Python 3.12. Any feedback, both positive
and negative, will be appreciated.
