I've uploaded a setup snapshot to http://www.cygwin.com/setup-snapshots/ if anyone wants to try the latest and greatest code.
It's main missing features are * clickable categories. * install from local without setup.ini won't allow -src selection. New features over the net released setup are: * file magic detection (we can add new file suffixs for tar-bz2 and tar-gz with 2 lines of code). * prev/curr/test reinstated (with caveat raised here last week). * skip only appears for uninstalled packages, and keep always shows for installed packages. * the first package version after skip is determined by the prev/test/curr buttons * multiple mirror sites can be selected, and setup will present a merged view of the setup.ini * keep downloading past errors, and present a error message only at the end of the entire download list.
