I've decided to choose my battles. I still have to tell people how to unsubscribe on a daily basis. I still have to fight about ChangeLog formatting. I still have to tweak the spam blocking system on sourceware on an hourly basis. I still have to be the Off Topic Policeman. I still have to enjoy the wonderful process of telling people that they aren't GPL compliant.
I decided not to worry about the format of the announcement messages. If someone else wants to volunteer to be a cygwin-announce moderator then I'll let them fight that particular battle. cgf On Wed, Aug 21, 2002 at 08:24:29AM -0400, Earnie Boyd wrote: >I'm surprised that this announcement was accepted, it's not standard >format. > >Earnie. > >-------- Original Message -------- >Subject: GNU emacs 21.2-6 available >Date: Tue, 20 Aug 2002 23:23:31 -0400 >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >GNU emacs 21.2-6 has been uploaded. > >Changes: > >- fixed missing lisp documentation problem >- found and fixed root cause of black-on-black color scheme > >Joe Buehler
