WFM.. Actually, I *can* reproduce the problem with the binary aspell, but if I rebuild it myself to debug, the problem goes away..
Interestingly, the way aspell displays the word it wants to change changes too.. I'm WAGging that I'm linking to something Gareth wasn't linking to.. - possibly ncurses. [...] Just read Gareth's original mail and did a cygcheck on aspell.exe - that's it: I'm linking to ncurses while he isn't. If Gareth agrees, I'd vote to link to ncurses and try again: all you need to do is install ncurses and rebuild. (WFM). Elfyn, could you check the linked-to-ncurses versions available for download (see below) to see if that fixes your problem?
