It's close but the SMTP_AUTH stuff still doesn't seem right. It only offers "LOGIN" or "PLAIN". I chose PLAIN but I couldn't send email using my non-SMTP_AUTH email server. I don't think any authorization should be used at all as the default or at least there should be an option not to use it and email-config shouldn't prompt for user name and password in that case. cgf
