That won't quite work. The problem is that if some dependency is both top-level AND transitive, and the transitive one happens to be encountered earlier, cygcheck will not (by default) output the top-level one. So, if you see $ cygcheck foo.exe foo.exe bar.dll baz.dll That does not mean that foo.exe does not depend on baz.dll. You can probably use $ cygcheck -v foo.exe foo.exe bar.dll baz.dll baz.dll (already done) to make sure, but the output does tend to be rather verbose...
