I would like to adopt Subversion from Max Bowsher. I've packaged the latest release (1.4.6).
I used the Subversion client daily, but not any of the bindings or the Apache2 module. I've run the included test suite and everything passes except the Ruby bindings. It looks like this might be a problem with the tests and not the bindings, but I'm not sure. I'd appreciate at least one GTG on this, since the packaging is complicated, at least for me. subversion setup.hint: ------------------------------------------------------------ sdesc: "A version control system" ldesc: "Subversion is a version control system that aims to be a compelling replacement for CVS in the open source community" category: Devel requires: cygwin libapr1 libaprutil1 libdb4.2 libexpat1 libintl8 libneon27 zlib subversion-apache2 setup.hint: ------------------------------------------------------------ sdesc: "A version control system (Apache 2 modules)" ldesc: "Subversion is a version control system that aims to be a compelling replacement for CVS in the open source community" category: Net Web Devel requires: subversion apache2 external-source: subversion subversion-devel setup.hint: ------------------------------------------------------------ sdesc: "A version control system (C headers and import libraries)" ldesc: "Subversion is a version control system that aims to be a compelling replacement for CVS in the open source community" category: Devel requires: subversion external-source: subversion subversion-perl setup.hint: ------------------------------------------------------------ sdesc: "A version control system (perl bindings)" ldesc: "Subversion is a version control system that aims to be a compelling replacement for CVS in the open source community" category: Devel Libs requires: subversion perl external-source: subversion subversion-python setup.hint: ------------------------------------------------------------ sdesc: "A version control system (python bindings)" ldesc: "Subversion is a version control system that aims to be a compelling replacement for CVS in the open source community" category: Devel Libs requires: subversion python external-source: subversion subversion-ruby setup.hint: ------------------------------------------------------------ sdesc: "A version control system (ruby bindings)" ldesc: "Subversion is a version control system that aims to be a compelling replacement for CVS in the open source community" category: Devel Libs requires: subversion ruby external-source: subversion download: ------------------------------------------------------------ wget -x -nH --cut-dirs=2 \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/setup.hint \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-1.4.6-1-src.tar.bz2 \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-1.4.6-1.tar.bz2 \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-apache2/setup.hint \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-apache2/subversion-apache2-1.4.6-1.tar.bz2 \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-devel/setup.hint \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-devel/subversion-devel-1.4.6-1.tar.bz2 \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-perl/setup.hint \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-perl/subversion-perl-1.4.6-1.tar.bz2 \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-python/setup.hint \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-python/subversion-python-1.4.6-1.tar.bz2 \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-ruby/setup.hint \ http://mysite.verizon.net/res00a7j/cygwin/subversion/subversion-ruby/subversion-ruby-1.4.6-1.tar.bz2 -- David Rothenberger ---- [EMAIL PROTECTED] "And kids... learn something from Susie and Eddie.
