FAQ answer:  Double-click Cygwin.bat in the Cygwin installation dir.

Sounds sufficiently straightforward to me.  Apart from that, keeping
the "Cygwin Bash Shell" menu entry requires another check button in
Setup's "Create Icons" menu.  I'd rather avoid that.
