They were supposed to have already added the D: back to windows-2025. That was a pretty big mistake for them to have made though, they removed the D: promising better performance, but resulted in slower disk io and much less free space to the point of being unusable for larger projects like llvm and rust (which vendors llvm) and their suggestion was to switch to larger (paid) runners since their docs only promised a certain minimum disk space.
