* miscfuncs.cc (case_folded_lower): Change to unsigned char to avoid
compiler warnings.
(case_folded_upper): Ditto.
(thread_wrapper): Add assembler code for x86_64.

(cyg_tolower): Add cast to avoid compiler warnings.
(cyg_toupper): Add cast to avoid compiler warnings.
