I've rebuilt the package with the same results, I also rebased the .dll's .  
Xwindows starts in windowed mode, but no splash screen appears. Xwindows 
starts  fine with xinit and will load wmaker or fvwm. Trying to start metacity 
or  
replace the current wm with metacity yields a similar Segmentation fault.  
Multiwindow works fine, I have found that most programs generate a large number 
 
of Status Access Violation errors.  I understand that Vista limits the  stack 
to 1meg. rather than 8, does anyone know of some way to alter this? A  
registry entry somewhere possibly? Any advise anyone might have would be 
greatly  
appreciated.
