Premise: I am fairly ignorant in the *nix/cygwin arena, so please bear
with me.

Ok, so I installed cygwin on my XP comp at work so that I could install
KDE and use Kile to do my document writing. I followed the instructions
at http://webdev.cegit.de/snapshots/kde-cygwin/kde/kde3.4/ to install
KDE on cygwin.

I then got the kile tarball from ftp://sunsite.dk/projects/cygwinports/,
untared it. Started X, then started Kile. Kile seemed to load fine, I
opened a document and everything looked fine and dandy. But, then I
noticed my toolbar didn't have all the typical tools I would fine on my
Linux box. The only toolbar that has any buttons is the file toolbar.
Is Kile on cygwin not set up to do anything but edit text? Or did all
the other packages not correctly link to Kile (or something similar)? I
really like the whole IDE part of Kile, being able to build my latex
files and convert them to different file types as needed.

Or is my installation of Kile broken somehow? If anyone could lend me a
hand I would really appreciate the help. If you need any information I
will gladly supply it, just be specific.

Thanks,
Ryan
