However, I don't recall it being a firewall or antivirus problem.
I came across this brief description for suspending the McShield service temporarily. http://flickr.com/photos/16488...@n00/1344577783/ You could try that and see if it makes any difference. Don't forget to re-enable the service when you've finished though.
