Thanks.  If you find the solution please let me know. I'll install
whatever packages I need. I find gvfs and sftp to be one of the most
useful features of a linux desktop and if I could get it working in
Windows/cygwin that would be great.

If it would work with keychain, seahorse, or whatever key manager
cygwinports uses, that would be even better.
