NOTE: it is imperative to update from both the distro and Ports, as many
overlaps were finally merged back into the distro earlier today.
Highlights:
* GNOME 3.2
This release includes many new features, including:
- Colord support (not that anything really uses it yet);
- Central management of online accounts for calendar/contacts/mail/chat;
- DBus debugger (d-feet);
- OpenXPS support in Evince;
- Evolution support for Exchange Web Services;
- Searching of online media services in Totem;
- SPICE server support in Vinagre.
A number of libraries had ABI version bumps; everything has been rebuilt
accordingly, and the old versions (listed in Misc) may be uninstalled.
* PulseAudio
Support has been enabled in GStreamer and the GNOME desktop; other
multimedia frameworks will enable this support in future uploads.
- esd(1) is now provided by pulseaudio; esound and libesd are now purely
clients thereof.
- Added paprefs and pavucontrol GUI apps.
