Yes, I believe nonlocal access is permitted to the RedHat server. I could access the same RH server from the same PC using eXceed before I removed eXceed from my PC a couple weeks ago. I haven't changed the server configuration.
I think my problem has something to do with the cygwin/XFree86 setup, I'm just not sure what. > Is access from nonlocal machine allowed?
