Well, I don't have a WinXP machine, so I wouldn't be the best person either. I assumed, based on the content of your previous letter that you were interested in helping figure out this problem. Since you have a WinXP machine with gdb, I assumed you want to have a look into it. At the very least, you could report what you get from the backtrace, should you not desire to delve into the code.
