It looks like you did your search within Cygwin. Might I recommend that you use Windows Explorer's Search functionality to perform the search? Tell it to search all local drives. Perhaps they will find the same set of files, but I do the search with Windows and I would rather just have you run the search than for me to have to babble on and think hard about stuff...

Hello Harrold, Zitat von Harold Leatherman Hunt II <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:You have, of course, run a file search on your machine for cygwin1.dll,
In fact, I haven't. I just did, and found the following files:
/cygdrive/c/cygwin/bin/cygwin1.dll
/cygdrive/c/cygwin alt/bin/cygwin1.dll
/cygdrive/c/Cygwin Installationen/cygwin/bin/cygwin1.dll
/cygdrive/c/Cygwin Installationen/cygwin halb okay/bin/cygwin1.dll
/cygdrive/c/Cygwin Installationen/cygwin mit allem/bin/cygwin1.dll
/cygdrive/c/Cygwin Installationen/Klappt, aber noch zu
gro/cygwin/bin/cygwin1.dll
/cygdrive/c/cygwin mit allem/bin/cygwin1.dll
However, only C:\cygwin\bin is in my %PATH%. The other files shouldn't hurt, should they?
I'll remove those files and try again.
Well
Thanks a lot,
