I have got cygwin on a cd-rom because I use a 56K modem. I have read the FAQ s that are on the cd and tried every solution that is there but it will not install. Every time when the packeges should come in the sceen it says that there is nothing availeble. Should I first unzip every folder that is on the cd or is there an other way of doing this. I know that I am a dumb Windows user but I can not get cygwin working this way. I would be gratefull for any help.
