remote xterm - how can I make it work

I atlast figured it out

I had to do 

xhost + <remote_machine> 

and add to the remote control list ( i guess i will put it in .xinitrc)

so the steps are

xhost + remote_machine
(setenv)  DISPLAY
export DISPLAY
