That is because you had installed Cygwin/XFree86 before and your mount paths are still in the registry. Take a look... run mount.

Well, I told the installer, to install to C:\cygnus instead of the default C:\cygwin. Nonetheless, some files ended up in C:\cygwin, for example the files from XFree86-fnts and XFree86-f100.
