Hi,
I have installed CYGWIN on a Windows 2000 PC, and when trying to ssh remotely to an
application from cygwin XTERM, i get the following errors:
Application initialization failed: couldn't connect to display "..."
Error in startup script: invalid command name "ncFyP12" while executing "ncFyP12"(file
....)
Trouble with U/I. vsim exiting with code 18
For the first error I tried to set DISPLAY to my local hostname, and also tried my
router's ip address (as I am connected via a routerthat uses NAT), but none helped.
The second error did not occur when I logged in to the original host, so I am sure it
has to do with the CYGWIN setup. I tried to set the environment variables mentioned in
the FAQ but it did not help. I appreciate any clues to resolve this issue.
