From a Cygwin bash prompt, run:
cygcheck -c XFree86-xserv

I have xfree86-base 4.3.0-1. I went the xfree86.cygwin.com in hopes of seeing if that was the latest version, but did not see a page listing the current version.
I found out my version number by downloading setup.exe and looking in the X11 hierarchy.
