I'm not aware of any modern mailing list which subscribes you when you send email to it with the subject "this subscription procedure sucks" and a body of "subscribe". Go to: http://cygwin.com/lists.html and read the info there to learn how to subscribe. Repeated sendings of "subscribe" here or complaints about how difficult it all is will only serve to eventually get you blocked from sending email here entirely.
