Thanks for your help. I try to change windows colordepth but it doesn't do any change, and when I launch XWin_GL with GLWIN_DUMP_PFD=1 , I can see that nothing is happening when I try to launch my Solaris OpenGL application, nor there is any context creation. I don't make any conclusion but I think it fail at the very beginning !

Maybe you should try changing the colordepth of windows to any of 8bit, 16 or 24bit You can start XWin_GL with the environment variable GLWIN_DUMP_PFD=1. this will print some extra information on visual creation. GLWIN_DUMP_PFD=1 /usr/X11R6/bin/XWin_GL -multiwindow -clipboard -silent-dup-error Maybe this will a clue what's failing. bye ago -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.gotti.org ICQ: 126018723
