There's only one "server" and that is cygwin.com (aka sourceware.org aka gcc.gnu.org). Disk space is limited there. Of course, the real reason why we don't do this, though, is "because we're mean". However, meanness aside, A google search of "cygwin time machine" might prove instructive. It would unearth this URL: http://www.fruitbat.org/Cygwin/index.html#cygwincirca . This is an independent (not supported by this site) project to archive all previous releases of cygwin.
