hi, I had a recent upgrade to lenny and am sad to see that the -clipboard command line parameter has no effect any more :/ I think it is related to the new xserver that is provided by lenny. My startxdmcp.bat shows: %RUN% XWin -query %REMOTE_HOST% -nodecoration -lesspointer -fp tcp/%REMOTE_HOST%:7100 -clipboard -nowinkill
I really miss the clipboard, so much I think about downgrading again :/ But first I wanted to know, if there's an easier way :) lastlog: 2010-03-04 19:18:29 winProcEstablishConnection - Hello 2010-03-04 19:18:29 winProcEstablishConnection - Xdmcp, waiting to start clipboard client until 4th call... 2010-03-04 19:18:30 winProcQueryTree - Hello 2010-03-04 19:18:30 winInitClipboard () 2010-03-04 19:18:30 winClipboardProc - Hello 2010-03-04 19:18:30 DetectUnicodeSupport - Windows NT/2000/XP 2010-03-04 19:18:30 winGetDisplay: DISPLAY=:0.0 2010-03-04 19:18:30 winClipboardProc - DISPLAY=:0.0 2010-03-04 19:18:30 winProcQueryTree - winInitClipboard returned. 2010-03-04 19:18:30 winProcEstablishConnection - Clipboard client already launched, returning. 2010-03-04 19:18:30 winClipboardProc - XOpenDisplay () returned and successfully opened the display. 2010-03-04 19:18:33 winClipboardIOErrorHandler! 2010-03-04 19:18:33 winClipboardProc - setjmp returned for IO Error Handler 2010-03-04 19:24:22 winDeinitMultiWindowWM - Noting shutdown in progress thanks alex -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://x.cygwin.com/docs/ FAQ: http://x.cygwin.com/docs/faq/
