A couple of suggestions.

Can we remove the following from from Latest News?

* John Fortin left the project for personal reasons. We are looking for more
contributors to complete the XFree86 port. 

* A CVS access to Cygwin/XFree86 source tree is available. 

CVS access... under Latest News is sort of duplication of previous
one.

Message about John is contradictory to your first announcement.
