RE: Emacs text colors messed up

I feel dumb now, really dumb.

I hadn't run Emacs locally on the Linux machine that I've been using for
XDCMP since I upgraded from KDE 2.0 to KDE 2.1.

Guess what?  When I login locally to that machine it displays the fonts for
Emacs incorrectly, for local versions of Emacs and for remote versions of
Emacs.

My Emacs fonts problem has nothing to do with Cygwin/XFree86.
