Hi Arnaud, Guess this is a typical french problem.... The trick is to remap the keyboard using xmodmap with a keyboard map file as an argument. Searching the mailing lists I found an http link to one which worked fine in local machine (i.e. starting an xterm on my machine), but I had troubles when launching xterm on remote machines (symptomes : the number key line does not work anymore...). I finally found another one, working great everywhere.
