No. cygncurses5.dll will be around for a long time. It's just a small percentage of folks that didn't (a) follow the instructions or (b) search the mailing list for the solution to the problem caused by not following (a). These folks are confused -- but it's no reason to rush out another XFree86 release. Whenever the next Cygwin/XFree86 is ready and you rebuild it, it'll automagically be linked to the new cygncurses6.dll -- no need to rush it. --Chuck
