A symlink should work: $ ln -s /cygwin/c/export /export A mount will also work: $ mkdir /export # To silence mount warnings... $ mount C:/export /export If what you really want is to dynamically map the entire contents of C: into the Cygwin root directory, I don't have any suggestions.
