I'm trying it now. No, I didn't know this was the preferred method of installing cron as a service. I've been installing/reinstalling everything from the cygwin *setup.exe*.

I've looked at the log files and they seem pretty unremarkable. I'll run cronbug after I try the cron-config command.

Did you use cron-config to configure cron?

If the problem persists run cronbug and send the output as an attachment.
