The current version of whois has not been built to support /etc/whois.conf. Is there a reason for this? This is particularly a problem for new TLD's which without a modified whois.conf can only be queried by passing the correct host to whois (-h)
FWIW the man page still references whois.conf and the whois.conf manpage is also installed presumably as part of this package. If it is not going to be compiled with support it would be handy to call it out in the manpage. - Shaun -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
