I cannot help but I can confirm this behavior. However, it has been
happening to me for only a handful of days, not since my computer upgraded
to Windows 11.
For me, also, it is gvim that I often open from the mintty bash cli. Thanks
for asking about it, anyway. Maybe there will be an answer, but in the
meantime I now know it's not just me.
