Dear Cygwinistas, I read this thread and wanted to try out the 3.12 python3. But I am having trouble using setup.exe ,because what it shows me when I tick "Test" is that the latest version is only 3.9.16-1 and what is currently installed on my machine is 3.12.12 (!). I've had the 3.12 python for months. I imagine that even after all this time, there's something I don't understand about how setup.exe works ;-/
