Hello, on Cygwin 3.7.0-0.382.gab4d1afb5e1e.x86_64 on
CYGWIN_NT-10.0-19045, is anyone else getting posix_spawn() errors when
using clang?
I get these errors:
0 [main] clang-21 1687 child_info_fork::abort:
\??\C:\cygwin64\bin\cygintl-8.dll: Loaded to different address:
parent(0x44D0000) != child(0x1A0000)
clang: error: unable to execute command: posix_spawn failed: Resource
temporarily unavailable

We updated to cygwin 3.7.0-0.390.gede7cbc9946b.x86_64, the
posix_spawn() in clang.exe does not work.
Maybe clang is broken?
Try this procedure to rebase all DLLs of all packages:
1. reboot machine
2. open admin terminal, run /usr/bin/rebase-trigger full, close terminal
3. run Cygwin setup.exe, just run it without installing anything. Do not abort!
4. reboot machine
IMO it would be cool if there is a tool which could be called from
powershell or cmd.exe
DIY - Exit or shutdown all other Cygwin services and processes then:
$ cygstart dash
$ exit
In dash shell window:
$ rebase-trigger full
$ rebaseall
or equivalent - YMMV! ;^>
