The group is created when the Hyper-V role is installed. The Hyper-V Management Service (VMMS) maintains the membership of this group. This group requires the 'Create symbolic links' right (SeCreateSymbolicLinkPrivilege) and the 'Log on as a service' right (SeServiceLogonRight).
