I am having the following problem:
I have a application written in Delphi 6 than access PostgreSQL 7.4.1 database on Cygwin, via dbExpress driver from Vitavoom.
I am able to compile the project but when i put it to run from the IDE or out of IDE, but with Delphi open, the application takes too long to connect.
I noticed that when i close the cygwin bash window the application connects immediately.
Does anybody can help me?
