I assume this will fix it. Is there any way we can get a new version with
this patch posted on cpan ?
Don't expect that.
Aldo didn't accept any gcc and MakeMaker patches in the last years for his projects. Not for Win32::API and not for Win32::GUI, though they exist. Several people tried that before.
He can only do MSVC ActiveState builds.
